Frequently Asked Questions
Why choose SG Chemistry?
All our tutors are former MOE teachers who possess high qualifications (e.g. PSC Scholar, Masters in Education, Lead Teacher etc.). Each of them has more than 10 years of teaching experience and is a subject matter expert in Chemistry. They will be able to provide the best quality academic guidance for the students.
Their rich experience of teaching at top secondary schools and junior colleges ensured their familiarity with the 'O' levels, Integrated-Programme (IP) as well as the JC curricular. Our teachers constantly keep themselves abreast of any syllabus updates, making sure that our programme is aligned to the national examination requirements.
Teaching entails more than letting students attempt loads of practice worksheets and papers. Our teachers are dedicated to find out the issues that each student faces and aim to help them overcome the challenges. We are able to pinpoint students' common difficulties, and deliver the lesson in the most concise and efficient manner to help our students optimize their learning within the shortest time.
Our teachers are all specially interviewed and picked to ensure that they have the right aptitude, passion and drive, to connect, engage and inspire students in their teaching. We strive to let the students see each subject as useful, interesting and meaningful to learn rather than one that requires them to memorise in order to score a good grade for exams.
All our teachers are sincere, highly committed and patient. We strive to build a rapport with our students and create a positive learning environment for everyone. Students learn best when they are able to hold comfortable conversations during the lessons.
